The Name
Like Angel, the salt rose is native to East Asia. It is a cousin of the wild rose of Alberta, where she grew up.
Thriving in harsh conditions of salt spray and sand, it is resilient, protected by hardy thorns, and leaving behind fertile bright hips.
Beyond Work
Angel previously spent twenty years as a leader in hospitality and fashion, and is a certified sommelier and end-of-life doula. She speaks English and Cantonese and a bit of French, and when she isn’t out foraging around her beautiful home in Greece for wild asparagus, she is probably either doing yoga, in the water, or trying to learn Greek and Putonghua.
